Frequently Asked Questions

What is freeze drying? How is it different from other candy making processes?

Freeze-drying is a method of preserving food while keeping the original flavor and nutrients intact. We invite you to see our cool explanation of the process by viewing our page What Is Freeze Drying.

Are my treats frozen when they arrive?

Nope. Freeze-dried treats are not cold or frozen. The word "freeze" just describes the process used to transform the original candies and treats into the light and airy texture that you love. See more about the process on our page What Is Freeze Drying?

How long can I keep/store my freeze-dried treats?

Freeze-dried candy has been known to last for a mind-blowing 25 years or even longer! But how long it lasts depends on how you store it. Your candy will arrive to you in a resealable food-safe bag or container. For continued freshness, keep the bag sealed after snacking or keep the candy in an air-tight jar to avoid exposure to moisture/humidity. However... we're sure you won’t keep them for later because they are such an irresistible snack!
